Why Vote? Because there is no such thing as NOT Voting. #EricLiu

Check out this Ted Talk by Eric Liu, founder of Citizen University in Seattle, WA. He makes a compelling argument that there is no such thing as not voting! Even if we aren’t happy with the exact leader we’re voting for, voting is automatic in our system, even if we don’t exercise that vote. And when we do vote in the booth, we’re voting for MORE than the person. We get stuck in personalities, so we say, “Why vote?” That’s like saying “Why lead?” Choosing not to vote, choosing not to lead, is voting, and is leading, even though we may delude ourselves into thinking we are doing nothing.

Listen, share with your friends who think NOT voting is an effective commentary on this election. Let’s lead with our votes.
